FDIS is a fully automatic system for detecting defects of filter driers. It combines telecentric optics, four high-resolution industrial cameras, a custom conveyor with cradles, and Optomech FDIS software for recipe-based OK/NG decisions with full data traceability.
Operators load one part at a time in horizontal orientation onto the belt conveyor. Custom holders keep each filter drier positioned consistently under the cameras. The system measures critical dimensions, detects fine burrs on Cap and Condenser ends, then pneumatically ejects NG parts while good parts continue to a dedicated collection bin.
Every part is inspected automatically with no manual sampling.
