How PBMS Works

Prepare Template

Operator runs a test bottle through the 7-step workflow, verifies measurements against drawing, and saves the inspection sequence as a reusable template.

Place Bottle

Load a plastic bottle onto the rotating stage. The sensor automatically detects bottle presence and centers it for measurement.

7-Step Auto-Inspect

Stage rotates 360°. At each step, the 20MP CMOS captures an image. Double telecentric lens + blue LED ensure consistent edge detection. Dimensions computed in real time.

Report & Analyse

Dimension data compared to limits. Pass/Fail verdict. Full report (shift, batch, daily). CPK/SPC trends available. Remote support via network interface.

Blue LED Telecentric Illumination

Collimated blue light optimized for the optical properties of plastic (HDPE, PP, PET). Eliminates glare, shadow, and refraction artifacts. Repeatable edge detection on clear, translucent, and opaque bottles.

High-resolution digital sensor delivers 1 µm least count and ±5 µm accuracy. 512GB SSD storage for templates, images, and reports. Fast frame rate supports 360° rotation and multi-step capture.

Double Telecentric Lens

Telecentric on both object and image sides ensures zero perspective distortion and magnification-independent measurement. Critical for accurate edge detection across the entire field of view.

Auto-Rotation Stage

Powered 360° stage with stepper motor and precision home sensor. Captures bottle geometry at configurable angular intervals (7 steps standard). Repeatable positioning for every inspection.
