PP 400H Questions

Why choose horizontal PP 400H over a vertical model for threads?+
On the PP 400H the shaft mounts between centres with its axis aligned to the optical axis, giving a true cross-section view of pitch, included angle, root radius, crest flat, and thread height. Vertical models can measure short threads on the stage but are not ideal for long cylindrical threaded parts.
Does the PP 400H need floor installation?+
Yes. At 175 kg and 1450×550×3100 mm, the PP 400H requires floor installation with adequate ceiling clearance. The stage is motorised on ball screws and precision linear guides.
