PP 600H Horizontal Profile Projector

The PP 600H is the most capable profile projector in the Optomech range. Its 300×600 mm traverse — with 600 mm along the part axis — means exceptionally long shafts, lead screws, and ball screws can be inspected end-to-end without repositioning. The Ø600 mm screen and 250 kg rigid base make it the reference instrument for precision shaft manufacturers.

PP 600H Questions

Why is the PP 600H traverse 300×600 mm?+
Horizontal projectors need a long Y traverse to follow shaft length. The 600 mm Y travel allows continuous measurement along a 600 mm workpiece without repositioning; the 300 mm X traverse handles diameter variation and radial features.
PP 400H vs PP 600H — which should I buy?+
Choose PP 600H if you regularly inspect parts with lengths up to 600 mm or need the Ø600 mm screen. Choose PP 400H when parts are shorter, Ø400 mm screen is sufficient, and you want the more compact (still floor-mounted) horizontal option.
